Buy an eSIM with crypto: payment and privacy guide

A cryptocurrency eSIM checkout lets you pay with a supported digital asset instead of a card. The current invoice, not a catalogue price or this guide, determines the exact asset, network, address, amount and expiry.

How to buy an eSIM with crypto

  1. Choose the destination, data allowance and validity that match the trip.
  2. Save the complete private order link before leaving IncogSIM. It replaces a customer account or email inbox.
  3. Open the available crypto checkout and choose only an asset and network it currently offers.
  4. Copy the exact destination address and amount, then check both again in the wallet before sending.
  5. Return through the saved private link and wait for confirmed settlement and eSIM delivery. A wallet broadcast alone is not confirmation.

Bitcoin, Monero and other assets are not interchangeable

Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public ledger. Addresses and payments can sometimes be connected through transaction history or records held by a seller, wallet service or exchange.

Monero is designed to hide transaction participants and amounts on its ledger. That does not hide the device from a mobile network, remove payment-provider records, protect a leaked private order link or make information entered into support anonymous.

Never send an asset over a similarly named but different network. The checkout selection is authoritative; IncogSIM does not infer a payment from a catalogue price in euros.

How IncogSIM crypto checkout is designed

IncogSIM's production design uses AnonPay for the customer payment handoff and settles the configured merchant receipt in Monero (XMR). When enabled, AnonPay lists the sending assets and networks available for that particular invoice. Availability can change and must be checked at checkout.

AnonPay's documented indirect flow creates a unique invoice identifier and provides transaction status. IncogSIM still requires its own confirmed order state before delivery; an external status, wallet observation or transaction ID does not independently authorize an eSIM.

Keep the right transaction reference

If a payment is converted, the cryptocurrency transaction you send and the merchant's Monero payout can have different transaction IDs. Keep the sending asset, network, transaction ID and AnonPay invoice reference. They can help support locate a payment, but they do not unlock a private order or prove that the requester owns it.

Wrong-network transfers, expired invoices, underpayments and overpayments can require manual investigation and may not be recoverable. Never share a wallet seed, private key, wallet password or complete private order link with support.

No account does not remove every record

IncogSIM does not ask for a customer account or email to access an order. The payment service, sending wallet or exchange, public blockchain where applicable, eSIM supplier and mobile networks have their own records and policies. Read the privacy explanation before choosing a payment method.
