Install an eSIM on Pixel
Install from your phone's eSIM settings using the installation details in your private order. No IncogSIM app is needed.
IncogSIM Guides. Last reviewed .
Before you start
- Check that your exact device model supports eSIM and is unlocked for the provider you intend to use.
- Stay connected to a reliable internet connection during installation.
- Use the details from a real, delivered order. Never enter a payment address or scan a payment QR as an installation code.
- Confirm the plan's activation timing before installing. Installation does not always mark the start of validity.

Install on this Pixel
In Settings, open Network & internet, then SIMs. Choose Add SIM and start eSIM setup. Keep your private order available when switching between the browser and Settings.
If setup offers manual entry, paste the exact installation details from your order into the matching fields. If no manual option appears, display the installation QR on another screen and follow the device prompts. Available options depend on the device and carrier.
Choose mobile data
In SIM settings, choose this eSIM for mobile data. Keep your existing line for calls and texts if needed. Concurrent SIM support and available preferences depend on the Pixel model and carrier.
Installed, but no data?
Check that your plan covers your current country and still has data and validity remaining. Save your private order link before opening Settings.
Try one check at a time, then briefly turn Wi-Fi off to test mobile data. Stop once it works. Keep the eSIM installed; deleting it may prevent reinstallation.
Check your eSIM and data
- Confirm activation
Make sure the eSIM is installed, activated and switched on. Follow the activation instructions for your plan; installation alone does not always start the plan.
- Enable mobile data
Turn mobile data on for the IncogSIM eSIM in your phone settings.
- Select the correct data line
Select the IncogSIM eSIM, not your primary physical SIM or another eSIM, for mobile data. Turn automatic data switching off if available, so the phone does not fall back to your other SIM.
- Enable data roaming on this eSIM
Open the IncogSIM eSIM settings and turn data roaming on. Check that you are changing this line, not your primary SIM; roaming on another line may incur separate charges.
- Allow mobile data for your apps
Check that the affected apps are allowed to use cellular/mobile data. Review per-app permissions and data-saving restrictions where available; on GrapheneOS, also check the app's Network permission.
Check connection settings
- Check the APN
Keep the automatically configured APN unless your order or IncogSIM support instructs you to change it. If your profile requires
plus, enterplusexactly in the APN field and save/select it. Order-specific settings take precedence. If APN editing is unavailable or you are unsure which profile you have, ask support before changing it. - Try another supported operator
Turn automatic network selection off and try another available operator supported by your plan. A listed network is not necessarily included. If it does not connect, return to automatic selection.
- Test somewhere with stronger coverage
Try another location with stronger mobile coverage, such as near a window or outside where it is safe. Wait for the phone to reconnect before testing again.
- Check VoLTE, if available
If your device and provider expose a supported VoLTE option for this eSIM, try enabling it. Skip this check if the option is absent. VoLTE does not add voice calls to a data-only plan and is not a universal fix for mobile data.
- Check a private VPN configuration
A custom VPN can affect connectivity. Only if it is safe for you, pause it briefly to test, then turn it back on. Traffic during the test is not protected by that VPN; avoid sensitive activity. Do not remove managed profiles or bypass a required VPN or kill switch. Ask support instead if you need those protections.
Refresh the connection
- Switch the eSIM off and on
Turn the IncogSIM eSIM line off, then turn it back on and allow it to reconnect. Disable the line only; do not delete or remove the eSIM profile.
- Toggle Flight Mode
Turn Flight Mode (Airplane Mode) on, then turn it off and wait for the mobile network to reconnect. This briefly interrupts mobile connectivity on all SIMs.
- Restart your phone
Restart the phone, then check that the IncogSIM eSIM is still selected for mobile data and that roaming is enabled on that line.
Settings vary by device, software and eSIM profile. If data still does not work, tell support your device model, current country and which checks you tried. Do not share your private link or installation codes.
Connection checks updated . The APN must match your actual profile; live activation and profile-specific settings still require verification. A preview order cannot be used to test a mobile connection.
